Why we started publishing this information
KÖLNER ABRECHNUNGSDIENST Heiartz & Vogel oHG was formed by two colleagues with backgrounds in healthcare administration who noticed how often billing terminology confused patients and new administrative staff alike.
Rather than offering billing services directly, we chose to focus on explaining the subject clearly: how a claim moves through its lifecycle, why receivables are tracked the way they are, and what the common points of confusion tend to be.
Everything published here reflects general industry practice in Germany and internationally. It is not a substitute for advice from your practice's own billing team, accountant or legal counsel.
